Fourteen new cases (seven women and seven men) of COVID-19 were recorded on Thursday, April 22.  

They were identified among the 813 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. Two persons were also discharged. Currently, there are 86 persons in isolation.

Since the start of the pandemic, Barbados has recorded 3,820 confirmed cases (1,860 females and 1,960 males) out of the 151,004 tests conducted.  

Meanwhile, 3,718 persons have recovered from the viral illness. Forty-four deaths have occurred. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, a total of 71,648 persons – 29,633 males and 42,015 females – have been vaccinated.
