There were two positive cases of COVID-19, a male and a female, recorded on Sunday, June 20, out of the 352 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. The number of people in isolation is 10.

A total of 4,045 COVID-19 cases – 1,955 females and 2,090 males – have been confirmed since the pandemic began in March last year. Forty-seven persons have succumbed to the virus.

Tests carried out by the public health laboratory have reached 180,265, so far. As part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 92,071 first doses of the vaccine have been administered. Additionally, 66,347 people have received second doses and are fully vaccinated.
