Eleven people were discharged from isolation on Sunday, April 25, while three new positive cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

The cases, two males and one female, were identified from the 296 tests conducted. Presently, 102 persons remain in isolation.

To date, Barbados has recorded 3,828 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1,865 females and 1,963 males) while there have been 3,746 recoveries.  Forty-four people have died from the virus.

A total of 152,099 tests have been carried out by the public health laboratory. Under the National Vaccination Programme, 73,590 vaccinations – 30,375 men and 43,215 women – have been administered.
