Three new cases of COVID-19, one female and two males, were identified on Thursday, June 3, out of the 660 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

There are now 28 persons in isolation.

Since March 2020, Barbados has recorded 4,029 confirmed cases of the viral illness, comprising 1,949 females and 2,080 males.  There have been 47 deaths.

The public health laboratory has so far conducted 172,410 tests. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, a total of 81,328 persons have received a first dose, and 61,024 persons have received a second dose and are fully vaccinated.
