The number of persons in isolation for COVID-19 remains at 52 today, as three persons tested positive yesterday and three others were released from isolation after recovering from the viral illness.

Information released by the Ministry of Health and Wellness identified the three new cases as a 25-year-old male, a 25-year-old female, and a 36-year-old man, who all returned from overseas on March 20.

They were among 39 persons tested yesterday.  This brought the total number of laboratory tests done since February 11 to 694.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Barbados now stands at 66 – 32 males and 34 females, within the age range of seven to 95.
