Two men and seven women are the island’s latest COVID-19 cases.

They were identified out of 756 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory, on Thursday, June 24. There are now 25 persons in isolation.

Barbados has recorded 4,066 cases of the viral illness (1,970 females and 2,096 males), and 47 deaths, since March 2020.

The public health laboratory has carried out 182,547 tests, to date. As it relates to the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 93,940 first doses have been administered, while 68,417 persons are now fully vaccinated, having received second doses.
