A female was the only COVID-19 positive case identified on Saturday, June 5, from the 414 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
The number of persons in isolation is 26.
A total of 4,031 confirmed cases of COVID-19, comprising 1,951 females and 2,080 males, have been recorded since March 2020. The death toll from the virus is 47.
To date, the public health laboratory has carried out 173,381 tests. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 82,458 first doses have been administered.
There are also 61,191 people (25,133 males and 36,058 females) who have received second doses and are fully vaccinated.
