A 52-year-old male, who came into to the island on a chartered flight yesterday, tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total number of recorded cases in Barbados to 143 – 75 females and 68 males.  

No one will be released from the isolation facility today, so the number of persons there is now 24, 15 males and nine females.

Infectious Disease Consultant, Dr. Corey Forde, who is in charge of the Harrison Point, St. Lucy isolation facility in an update today revealed that there were four patients in primary isolation and in tertiary isolation there are 12 males and eight females.

The total number of persons who have recovered from the illness is 112, and there have been seven deaths.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 127 tests yesterday, bringing the total number of tests performed to 13,143.
