One visitor will enter isolation today after testing positive for COVID-19.

The 71-year-old woman, who arrived on JetBlue on December 5, was diagnosed with the viral illness after a second test. She was asymptomatic and was the only positive case among the 617 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Laboratory yesterday.

One person will leave isolation today. As a result, the number of persons in isolation remain at 19.  

Barbados has recorded 290 confirmed cases, comprising 150 females and 140 males. Of these, 264 persons have recovered.   To date, the public health laboratory has completed 50,986 tests.
