Three people entered the isolation facility at Harrison Point, St. Lucy, after testing positive for COVID-19 yesterday out of the 277 tests conducted, and four people left after recovering from the viral illness. 

The new cases are a 33-year-old male visitor and a 42-year-old Barbadian man, who both came into Barbados aboard British Airways on August 25 and tested positive yesterday on their second test, and a 24-year-old Bahamian female student, who arrived yesterday on Caribbean Airlines from the Bahamas via Jamaica.

The current statistics reveal 173 confirmed cases, 21 people in isolation, and 145 people who have recovered. The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory has completed 17,057 tests.
