Barbados recorded two more cases of COVID-19, from the 964 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health on Wednesday.

They are a 48-year-old female, who arrived on British Airways on December 20, and a 54-year-old male, who came into the island on Virgin Atlantic on December 22. They are both asymptomatic and tested positive on their second test.

Confirmed cases now stand at 347 – 182 females and 165 males. One person will leave the Harrison Point isolation facility today, bringing recoveries to 292, and those in isolation to 48. To date, 65,437 tests have been completed by the laboratory.
