The Ministry of Health has advised members of the public that the Environmental Health Division of the Winston Scott Polyclinic will be conducting a controlled burning of cow itch on the premises of the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic, The Pine, St. Michael, on Thursday, April 12, from 10:00 a.m. to noon.??
This exercise will be carried out under the supervision of the Barbados Fire Service.
Members of the public who live or work in the vicinity of the Polytechnic are asked to take the necessary precautions. In addition, persons with asthma or other respiratory problems are advised to leave the area between 10:00 a.m. and noon.
