A government minister has thrown out a challenge to ICBL and other insurance companies to come up with creative investment products to meet the island???s educational needs for future generations.

Minister of Industry, International Business, Commerce and Small Business Development, Donville Inniss, made this call yesterday evening at ICBL???s Rebrand Cocktail reception at the company???s headquarters on Roebuck Street.

He reminded his audience that Government had recently announced that it would be working with banks and other financial institutions in this venture and he, therefore, urged insurance agencies to ???quickly get on board and to create such products that would help us as a nation secure a brighter future.???

Noting that ???whilst others may quarrel about the challenges,??? Mr. Inniss was quick to point out that that ???some of us need to spend quality time focussing on the solutions.???

Praising the corporation, which was established in 1978, Minister Inniss maintained that through this rebranding process the company was improving on an already excellent financial service. He also lauded them for being forward thinking and committed to the development and growth of their employees.

???For years ICBL has been a leader in the local market, and from inception, made it of particular interest to ensure that the public had access to quality insurance products, regardless of background???,??? Mr. Inniss stressed.
