The Coastal Risk Assessment and Management Programme (CRMP) of the Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU) will host an open house on Thursday, June 25, at the Accra Beach Resort and Spa, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to walk through and view displays on background studies, analyses, and concepts of the Component 1 study Engineering Designs: Waterfront Improvements ??? St. Lawrence Gap to Rockley.
Representatives from the CZMU and W.F. Baird and Associates will be on hand to answer any questions.??The CRMP is aimed at building resilience to coastal hazards in general and climate change in particular.
It is also expected to provide valuable information for agencies within the National Emergency Management System to implement additional mitigation measures and hazard response procedures, including evacuation routes from the coast and safe zones.
