In keeping with its theme for Education Month, Building Excellence in Education through STEAM, the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training will host a cultural industries forum for students.
Dubbed Youth Create, the forum will take place at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael, on Thursday, October 18, from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m.
Cultural industries experts, including Soca Monarch, Mikey; Two Mile Hill’s Mahalia; soca artiste Joaquin; film producer, Rommel Hall of Hall-E-Wood Productions; Adaeze; and Gio Romere of Ideas & Design, will give talks and demonstrations on careers in the arts and cultural industries.
Limited seating will be available for members of the public.
