Barbadians are being encouraged to join in the 106th Anniversary celebrations of the Customs and Excise Department on August 25, under the theme A Legacy of Service and Partnership.??????????????????????????????????

To mark the occasion, staff will attend a Church Service this Sunday, August 21, at the Church of the Nazarene, Collymore Rock, St. Michael, beginning at 8.00 a.m. Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Chris Sinckler is expected to attend.

A highlight of the activities will be an Open Day on Wednesday, August 24, featuring art and craft exhibitions and health fairs at the Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St. Michael and the Barbados Port Inc. Building, University Row, St. Michael, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at both locations.

Celebrations will culminate with a staff picnic at the Farley Hill National Park, Farley Hill, St. Peter on Sunday, August 28.??

Events are designed to acknowledge the Department’s contribution to the nation, while recognising the continued support and cooperation of the wider community.
