The public is advised that the two webinars originally scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, and Thursday, May 30, as part of activities to mark Cyber Security Week, have been postponed due to technical issues affecting the registration process.

The free online sessions will now be held on Thursday, June 7, on the following topics: Introduction to Cyber Risk Oversight & Management and  EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Compliance Readiness & Cyber Threat Intelligence.

The Caribbean Israel Center for Cyber Defense (CICCD) is therefore advising government and non-governmental organisations which were unable to register previously, to submit their list of participants to CICCD@caribbeanisraelcoalition.org, by Tuesday, June 5. Confirmation of registration will be sent via email.

For more information, persons may contact CICCD’s Business Development Officer, Daidre Leacock, at 251-9836, or dleacock@caribbeanisraelcoalition.org.

The webinars on cybersecurity have been organised by the CICCD, in association with the Data Protection Department and the Telecommunications Unit. They will be conducted by the MER Group, one of the world’s leading cybersecurity companies.

IT professionals, law enforcement personnel and managers within the public and private sectors are the target audience.
