The Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU) is hosting yet another Sundown Beach Coastline Walk!
Slated to be held next Saturday, June 2, the walk will begin at Bathsheba, St. Joseph at 3:00 p.m. sharp, and end at Bath, St. John.
As usual, bus transportation will be provided for the event. Persons needing transportation are asked to assemble at the CZMU’s car park, Bay Street, St. Miuchael, at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. departure. Bus tickets may be collected from the CZMU or the Ministry of Tourism, from Tuesday, May 29, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. These are limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Participants are asked to wear appropriate foot wear, namely hiking shoes or sneakers, and to come prepared to walk over challenging terrain. Persons wearing inappropriate foot wear, for example flip flops, will not be allowed to board the bus. Loose fitting clothing is also advised.
