The David Thompson Memorial Constituency Council Football Classic kicks off this Sunday, September 18, at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex, University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus.
The opening ceremony, which begins at 4:00 p.m., will feature a parade of the constituency council football teams, as well as an address by Minister of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment and Community Development, Steve Blackett.
The first match begins at 6:00 p.m. between St. Michael South Central and St. John, followed by the second match at 8:00 p.m. between the defending champions Christ Church East Central, and St. Michael North West. All are invited to attend and support their constituencies.
