The deadline for the Barbados Government Information Service (BGIS) and the United Nations’ Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Eastern Caribbean Office Essay and Poster Competitions on The Rights of the Child, has been extended.
Students can now send their completed entries to the Office of the BGIS, Bay Street St. Michael, by Friday, November 11. The submissions may either be sent via mail or by email to marketingbgis@barbados.gov.bb .
The BGIS/UNICEF competitions will afford Barbadian children and adolescents the opportunity to give their perspectives on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, through the competitions which have the theme: My Rights – What Child Rights Mean to Me.
