Applications for the St. Joseph Constituency Council’s scholarships must be submitted on or before next Friday, September 9.

The Council is offering scholarships to two full-time or part-time students of the Barbados Community College (BCC) and two undergraduates of the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus (UWI), who reside in that constituency.

The scholarships, which will take the form of book and stationery grants, will be awarded to students who can demonstrate their need for financial assistance. Participation in community activities will also be further used to rank the candidates. The final selection will be made following an interview with shortlisted applicants.

Application forms may be collected from, and returned to, the University Book Shop, UWI, Cave Hill; the Book Source, BCC, Howell’s + Road; and the St. Joseph Post Office.
