Persons who require temporary restaurant licences to operate food stalls and bars at any Crop Over event, are advised that applications should be made to the Environmental Health Department, of the Black Rock Polyclinic by Friday, June 26.

This deadline is also in effect for all food handlers, including persons involved in food preparation, transportation, storage or service, who require medical certificates.

This is necessary to facilitate the timely processing of applications and the thorough monitoring and inspection of all food preparation, service and storage facilities.

There will also be educational health exhibitions on the grounds of the Black Rock Polyclinic, which all operators, concessionaires and food handlers will be rostered to view. The dates of the exhibitions are: July 13, 15 and 17 at 6:00 p.m. and July 14 and 16, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Any additional information may be obtained from the Environmental Health Department at the telephone numbers 438-9624, 421-7209, 425-6590 ext 5026 and 5036.
