This week’s Financial Literacy Bureau’s virtual clinic will focus on improving the financial health of businesses.

The session, entitled Debt Management for Businesses, will be held tomorrow, Thursday, September 2, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on the Zoom platform.  It will be facilitated by Chartered Accountant, Donna Murray.

Topics to be discussed include: Avoid the debt trap! How can you use debt, but manage it wisely so that it does not take over your business?  What type of debt should you use?  What should I use debt to finance?  Should I accelerate debt repayments? and Are there alternatives to borrowing money for my business?

Participants will also hear about using equity finance, as an alternative.
