The Barbados Water Authority wishes to inform the public that the upgrades at the Desalination Plant by Ionics Freshwater Limited are continuing successfully.
Some systems are still being tested, and once this process is complete, the plant will gradually be put back online.
It is expected that residents in the districts affected by water outages and low pressure over the past two days will see a gradual return of normal water supply.
The public is reminded that it will take some time for water levels in the reservoirs impacted by low levels to normalize.
The authority thanks the public for its patience and understanding, and apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these service disruptions.
