In an effort to promote marine ecosystem and coral reef conservation awareness, the Coastal Zone Management Unit, a department of the Ministry of the Environment and Drainage, has partnered with the Atlantis Submarine to offer discounted rates to members of the public during the month of June.
This forms part of the Environment Month celebrations which got underway on Saturday, June 1, and runs until Sunday, June 30, under the theme: Living Sustainably: Ecofriendly Lifestyles for a Healthy Nation.
In addition, special ground rates will be offered to primary and secondary schools during the month.
Members of the public interested in taking a submarine dive should contact 436-8929 during working hours or 243-1069 between 4:00 and 9:00 p.m. to make a reservation.
