With dengue fever currently on the rise, the Ministry of Health is continuing its efforts to educate the public about the illness and the Aedes Egypti mosquito that causes the disease.????

Come this Thursday, September 16, the Black Rock Polyclinic Men’s Health Group will discuss "Mosquito Control and Dengue Fever", when it meets at the Ann Gill Methodist Church in Fairfield Road, Black Rock, St. Michael.

The session, which starts at 7:00 p.m., will be facilitated by Environmental Health Officers, Maurice Gaskin and Basil Weatherhead.

There will be demonstrations on how to recognise mosquito larvae and eggs under a microscope and a number of visual aids and literature on the mosquito-borne disease will be made available.
