Commuters who travel on the Bathsheba, Clifton Hall, Flat Rock, Horse Hill and Martins Bay buses, which begin and end at the Fairchild Street Bus Terminal, are advised that a minor route diversion is currently in place.

This is due to ongoing road works at Hothersal Junction to Lears Roundabout, St. Michael, which are being conducted by C.O. Williams Construction, on behalf of the Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources (MTWW).

Buses travelling from Bridgetown will divert along Jackman’s road, turn right onto Lears Road, and then travel to the Lears Roundabout where all of the buses except for the Flat Rock bus will turn left and rejoin their usual routes.

The Flat Rock bus will travel straight through the roundabout in front of Armstrong Agencies and turn left onto Lower Estate road to rejoin its usual route.  Buses travelling to Bridgetown will go in the reverse direction.

The diversion should last for approximately three weeks. Commuters are encouraged to pay attention to media advisories, and monitor the social media pages of MTWBarbados and the Transport Board for details.

The Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources apologises for any inconvenience and thanks the public for its continued cooperation.
