All Barbados country code Top Level Domain names(ccTLD) ".bb" without valid Domain Name Registration Licences issued by the Telecommunications Unit will be deleted from the Telecommunications Unit Domain System (DNS) Servers effective Thursday, March 31, 2011.
This was announced today by Chief Telecommunications Officer, Reginald Bourne.
Those individuals who use ccTLD ".bb" for websites/emails who are not holders of the aforementioned licence should immediately contact the Telecommunications Unit Licensing Office at telephone number 434-2519 Ext 2580, or 2577 or by emailing them at info@telecoms.gov.bb to apply for the licence.
Persons interested in downloading applications can do so from the Unit’s website at http://www.telecoms.gov.bb/ .?? ??????
Completed applications forms, with the requisite fee, should be submitted to the Chief Telecommunications Officer, Trinity Business Centre, Country Road, St. Michael.
