There will be a meeting next Monday, July 27, for victims and survivors of domestic violence who are interested in forming a support group.

The meeting will be held at the Bureau of Gender Affairs, Keith Bourne Complex, Belmont Road, St. Michael, starting at 7:00 p.m.

It will give those persons who experienced domestic violence an opportunity to express their feelings among others who had similar encounters. Psychiatrist, Janelle Mayers, and several trained counsellors will be present to guide the process and have one-on-one counselling sessions.

The Bureau, in collaboration with SAVE (Services Alliance for Violent Encounters) Foundation, will be hosting the meeting.
