Twenty-eight teachers from government nursery and primary schools who completed their MSc in Education in Early Childhood Settings, during the academic year 2017-2018, will soon graduate.

A graduation ceremony will be held for them on Saturday, October 6, at the Derrick Smith School & Vocational Centre, Jackmans, St. Michael, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The programme was coordinated by the Higher Education Development Unit of the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, and the degree is being awarded by the Boston University Wheelock School of Education and Human Development.

The commencement address will be given by Dean of the Boston University Wheelock School of Education and Human Development, Dr. David Chard.

The graduation represents the Ministry’s commitment to investing in the professional training of teachers in the specialised area of early childhood education.
