The Economic Affairs Division of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Empowerment, Innovation, Trade, Industry and Commerce, will be hosting a one-day seminar this week, to thrash out a range of social and economic issues.

The discussion, under the theme: Recovery, Adjustment and Sustainable Development, takes place this Friday, August 27, in the Lecture Theatre, 1st Floor, Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St. Michael, from 10:00 a.m to 3:15 p.m.

During the day’s proceedings, participants will hear presentations from technocrats, who will speak on topics such as: The Impacts of Bilateral Trade Agreements on Competition in CARICOM; The Structure of Barbados-Dominica Agricultural Trade; Tourism Linkages: The Way Forward and Trade Related Technical and Financial Assistance: What’s Available for Barbados?
