Strengthening Our Nation Through Family, is the theme of this year’s ecumenical church service to celebrate Barbados’s 46th year of Independence.

It will be held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael, on Sunday, November 25, at 4:00 p.m. The service will be preceded by cultural presentations starting at 3:00 p.m., involving schools, the church, community and national organisations such as the Barbados Boy Scouts Association; the Girl Guides Association and the Barbados Cadet Corps.

Mr. Reid added that a donation would be collected during the ceremony for persons with disabilities
