Members of the Pan African Commission will perform a dramatic presentation entitled: The Tree Of Life, tomorrow, Tuesday, May 14, at the Eden Lodge Nursery School in St. Michael.

The activity, which gets under way at 10:00 a.m., is in keeping with the school’s theme for the year I am Bajan.

The tiny tots will in turn perform a theatrical piece in celebration of their Afro-bajan heritage.

Meanwhile, the school will host its Open Day 2013, under the same theme on Friday, May 17, from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m., and again from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.

A dental hygienist from the Maurice Byer Polyclinic will give free checkups to students and guests and there will be a nutritionist from the School Meals Department (SMD) to address proper eating habits and the role of the SMD, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Personnel from Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, Warrens, St. Michael will also facilitate blood pressure checks and there will be storytelling and puppetry for students by the National Library Service.

Parents/guardians and well wishers are invited to view the students’ work as well as the varied performances.
