As part of the continuing celebrations to mark Education Month, the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation will hold the annual Edu-Nation discussion tomorrow, Tuesday, October 20, at the Queen???s Park Steel Shed.

The event will be held under the theme: Education and Economic Opportunities in CARICOM: Barbados on the Eve of Its Fiftieth Year of Independence.

It targets fifth and sixth formers of secondary schools, as well as tertiary level students, and will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.??Minister of Education, Ronald Jones, will deliver remarks at the start of the discussion.

Panellists will include Barbados??? Ambassador to CARICOM, Robert Morris; Executive Director, Barbados Coalition of Service Industries, Lisa Cummins; CARICOM Youth Ambassador and teacher, Mosiah Hoyte; a representative from the Caribbean Single Market and Economy Unit; and Abreena Redding of Deighton Griffith Secondary.

Principal of Queen???s College, Dr. David Browne, will be the moderator. Members of the public are invited.
