Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) will host its strategic planning retreat via Zoom from tomorrow, Friday, October 23, at which Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, Santia Bradshaw, will be the guest speaker.

The retreat is an important part of RUSM’s strategic planning initiative and will launch a multi-year effort aimed at providing the opportunity for the institution to rethink the century-old model of medical education and reconsider what and how it teaches. It will also seek to collectively define RUSM’s innovation with respect to training 21st century physicians.

Also addressing the retreat will be Director of the Pan American Health Organization, Dr. Carissa Etienne; Senior Associate Dean for Education, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Eva Aagaard, and the Founding Dean Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, Washington State University, John Tomkowiak.

The retreat runs from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
