Education Month, which will be celebrated throughout October, will commence with a church service on Monday, October 2, at the Abundant Life Assembly, Haynes Hill, Bank Hall, St. Michael.  It starts at 9:30 a.m.

The sermon will be delivered by Reverend Lennox Boyce, while Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Ronald Jones, and Chief Education Officer, Karen Best, will address the congregation.

Representatives from a number of schools and organisations are also expected to participate in the service. These include The Alexandra Beacons, who will lead the worship session; violinist, Cherise Rock of Hilda Skeene; and the group Dancin’ Africa, who are expected to minister in dance.

The theme for Education Month is Firm Foundations = Quality Education.
