With one more week to go before the start of the new school year, a team of education officials led by Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Ronald Jones, will tour a number of schools to see the upgrades which were made during the summer.

The tour which takes place this Friday, August 29, will begin at the St. Giles Primary School, Ivy, St. Michael, at 9:30 a.m. From 10:15 to 10:35 a.m. the party will be at Lawrence T. Gay Primary, Spooners Hill, St. Michael.

The officials will move to Sharron Primary, Sharon, St. Thomas and then onto the Maria Holder Nursery, also located in Sharon, St. Thomas, from 11:15 to 11:30 a.m.

Starting at noon, education officials will visit Vauxhall Primary, Vauxhall, Christ Church. They will then move on to St. Lawrence Primary, St. Lawrence, Christ Church and St. Mark???s Primary, Blades Hill, St. Philip.

The team will also make a stop at the new School Meals Centre being built in Six Roads, St. Philip, at 1:45 p.m. followed by the Erdiston/New Horizon Academy which is being constructed in Pine Hill, St. Michael.
