Towards the Future: Preparing for the Next Age will be the theme of a series of educational discussions to be held in St. Philip South this month.

The Constituency Council for that area has teamed up with the Rastafarian Community and the Barbados Association of Non-Governmental Organisations, to host the events which will take place at the Rice’s Pavilion, St. Philip, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

The first meeting, which is scheduled to be held this Thursday, March 10, will hear panellists Ras Ils Mayers, Ras Colin Harper, Annette Maynard-Watson, Heru Holligan and Lot Balance, speak on the topic A Return to Old-Time Remedies – Living past 100.

On Thursday, March 24, panelists David Bynoe, Ras Mike Hinkson, Keturah Babb, Roosevelt King and Michael Bradshaw, will discuss Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture.

The discussions are designed to encourage persons to adopt healthy lifestyles by getting back to the basics. Residents of St. Philip South communities, and any other interested persons, are invited to attend.
