Barbadians should soon find additional employment in Canada and the United States of America (USA).

To that end, the National Employment Bureau (NEB) is urgently seeking to recruit butchers between 21 and 55 years old for employment in Canada and to shortlist males between the ages of 21 and 40 to work in the agriculture industry in the USA.

Those applying for the post of butcher should have previous experience in that area and be skilled in operating equipment and the preparation of meats in a processing plant.

Persons interested in working in agriculture should have experience in that field and in operating farm and heavy duty equipment.?? The possession of a heavy duty licence would be an asset. No US visa will be required for this opportunity and recruitment personnel from the USA will be visiting Barbados shortly to interview prospective applicants.

Those Barbadians who want to take advantage of the employment opportunities will need a valid passport, two passport-size photographs and an unblemished police certificate of character.

Further information may be obtained by contacting the NEB at 426-1511, 426-1436 or 426-4450, or visiting the Bureau, 2nd Floor, National Insurance Building, Fairchild Street, Bridgetown.??
