As part of the activities for Energy Month, the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources will hold an Energy Fun Walk this Saturday, November 17, beginning at 6:00 a.m.

Organizer, Mark Millar, Economist I in the Ministry, stated that the walk would begin and end at the Ministry’s office on Country Road. He asked those participating in the walk to assemble at the Ministry by 5:45 a.m., so the event could begin at 6:00 a.m. sharp.

The walk will leave the Ministry and turn left on to Garden Land, and make its way along Bank Hall Main Road and Bridge Road. Walkers will then proceed up “Brek Neck Hill” in The Ivy en route to Government Hill; turn right on to Pine North-South Boulevard; left on to Collymore Rock and head to Wildey.

They will turn left by the National Petroleum Corporation (NPC), proceed through Pine East Terrace; turn right on to the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology and proceed to the J.T.C. Ramsay (Bussa) Roundabout.

Walkers will then head west to Norman Niles Roundabout; turn left through Belle Gully, and proceed along My Lords Hill, Welches and Tweedside Road back to the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources on Country Road.

Members of the public are encouraged to come out and participate in the walk.
