An opportunity to win the Prime Minister???s Award for Innovation and a coveted cash prize of $75,000 awaits Barbadians keen on entering the National Innovation Competition.

Persons interested in participating in the competition which aims to promote creativity and recognise excellence in innovation are urged to submit one idea, which must meet a need in the market for which it is intended, to the National Council for Science and Technology.
The idea must also have the potential to generate income.

Entries may be submitted by individuals or teams comprising a maximum of four persons, all of whom must be citizens of Barbados or permanent residents of at least three years.

Application forms may be downloaded from website, and may be rendered in a sealed envelope to the National Council for Science and Technology, Reef Road, Fontabelle, St. Michael, Barbados, faxed to 228-5765, or scanned and emailed to
