Barbadians will soon get another opportunity to develop their business acumen.

The Economic Affairs Division has advised that applications are now being invited for the Global Entrepreneurship Boot Camp Scholarship Program 2016, which is being offered by Kookmin University in South Korea.

The main objective of this program, which will take place from July 4 to 29, is to help participants develop a business idea in order to create a company.

The deadline for applications is Sunday, May 22. The Organization of American States (OAS) is offering four full scholarships and four general scholarships for the program, which will be taught in English.

Those applying for the scholarship may be undergraduates, graduates or recent graduates of universities from any field of study from an OAS member state.

They must not be older than 29 years, must be computer literate and must produce proof of knowledge and ability to utilise computers effectively through a recommendation letter from a professor.
