Barbadians will soon learn more about the ‘ins and outs’ of “Building Healthy Structures” when the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) hosts a seminar to address this issue.

The event which will be held on Friday, June 27, in the Conference Room of the National Union of Public Workers, Dalkeith, St. Michael, starting at 10:00 a.m, is geared towards all in the construction industry, including architects and prospective home owners.

Members of the public who are interested in attending the discussion should contact the EPD at 310-3600 or 310-3651 to register.

During the seminar, officials will highlight and address issues which are crucial to designing and sustaining healthy structures in the 21st century. These include safety, occupancy, ventilation and waste water treatment.
