The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade has advised that the Government of Canada has issued a revision to its new entry requirements for all visa-exempt travellers seeking to enter Canada by air.
Effective March 15, 2016, it will become mandatory for Barbadians travelling to Canada to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
The eTA may be obtained online at a cost of CDN $7, and the security clearance will be valid for a period of five (5) years.??The application MUST be submitted online and will be available from August 1, 2015.??Barbadians and other nationals of visa-exempt countries seeking further information on the new requirements may visit Canada???s Gazette website at http://canadagazette.gc.ca.
