The National Conservation Commission’s grounds, opposite the Bush Hall Community Centre, will be the venue this Thursday, November 29, for a health fair hosted by the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic (formerly the Warrens Polyclinic).
It will run from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. under the theme:??Jump Start to Your Health.??
Persons who live, work or who will be in the area, are urged to come for blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol testing, breast screening and tetanus immunisations for adults. Nurses will also be on hand to check children’s immunisation records and Environmental Health Officers will be on site to convey advice on vector control. In addition, there will be a nutrition presentation at 11:00 a.m. and another on lifestyle modification at 1:30 p.m., line dancing at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and staff of the Polyclinic will provide entertainment to close the event.
