A new piece of educational software will be launched next week at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development, Elsie Payne Complex.

It is ezlearner Composer, an innovative, technological initiative that will focus on literacy development.

The new application being launched on Tuesday, December 14, is also an education-oriented social network of schools, teachers, students and parents who create, read, rate and share essays using a dynamic suite of online tools.

The curriculum content is updated regularly and showcases themes ranging from agriculture to transportation.?? Composer is aligned to the mainstream curriculum and has novel assessment features which integrate grades, scored writing traits and improvements tips.??

Minister of Education and Human Resource Development, Ronald Jones, will deliver the feature address at the product launch, which will be held in the Ministry’s Conference Room, from 9:30 a.m.??jgill@barbados.gov.bb
