Families are invited to Movie Night in Independence Square, the City, this Saturday, June 22, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

It is being hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth and the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination (EBCCI as part of the Heritage Month activities.

Films produced by tutors and students of the EBCCI including those made in collaboration with tutors from Italia Media House, RAI Agenda del Mondo, and UNDP Youth will be shown.

The featured films are Blind Cricket – Disability is not Inability, The Journey of a Calypso Artist, Mysterious Happenings in Barbados, The National Stadium, A Day in the Life of a Conductor, and Be Aware.??

Documentaries will also be shown, such as those produced by Director of the EBCCI, Professor Gladstone Yearwood on celebrated Barbadian cultural icons; the late Governor General of Barbados, Dame Nita Barrow, and visual artist, Fielding Babb.

Persons are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and picnic baskets. All movies are rated as General.??
