The Caribbean Permaculture Research Institute of Barbados, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Global Environmental Facility Small Grants Programme, will hold their next Farmers??? and Craft Market at Graeme Hall, Christ Church, this Saturday, May 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The market, which is held every Saturday, features only locally grown organic and conventional products such as organic eggs and chicken, local goat and cow cheese, baked goods, fruit wines, naturally-prepared juices, and crafts produced by talented artisans who utilise locally-sourced materials.

Patrons can enjoy affordable prices on seeds and seedlings, along with potted herbs, and indoor and outdoor ornamental plants.??Vendors who wish to participate in the market and persons who require more information are asked to call Lorraine Ciarallo at 266-3521, or email market@cpribarbados.com.??Vendors will be asked to pay a registration fee and supply their own tent, umbrellas and tables.
