The Barbados Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (BADMC) will be taking its farmers’ market to the north of the island next weekend.
It will be held on Saturday, May 28, at the Mahica Playing Field, Speightstown, St. Peter, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Items on sale will include fresh fruits and vegetables, plants and food. Breakfast will be served from 6:00 to 11:00 a.m.
It will be a day for the family as several activities have been planned for patrons including a jumping tent, horseback riding and the trampoline. There will also be a special karaoke session from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
