The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security will continue its training sessions for farmers on Tuesday, July 31 with a course entitled: Basics of Record Keeping.

The course will be held in the Conference Room at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, Graeme Hall, Christ Church from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

According to Officer-in-Charge of Extensions, Barney Callender, the course will cover areas such as the importance of record keeping, cash flow statement, income statement, cost of production and budgeting.

Mr. Callender noted that the aim of these training sessions is “all about knowledge transfer, trying to educate farmers in various aspects of agriculture and to make them more productive and efficient in their operations.”
